By the Numbers: 80/27/13/2/1
It was nearly a month ago that I was referred a freelance editing opportunity, for a series of video presentations that were to be part of a Live Event for the Master Gardeners’ Association of San Diego County.
What I didn’t know at the time was the scope of the project details, but it was a friend who had asked and I committed to him—and I therefore committed to the project. If you know me, you know that I am a man of my word when it comes to completing a project…
It turned out to be an extremely challenging gig because:
1 - I was the 1 and only Editor…
2 - I only had 2 weeks to finish…
13 - It ended up being over 13 hours of footage EDITED…
27 - A total of 27 videos…
80 - And it took me 80 hours of editing to finish it all!
..but I committed to finishing it, and boy did I learn a lot from the experience.
